Chapter 8: Double the Liveliness
*tap tap*
MC: Huh, oh… Morning
Alexander: Hey, is there no stopping you from eating all the food I just made?
MC: What’s wrong?
Alexander: Oh, it’s you. Listen to me. Dirty Mother keeps stealing all the food I made for breakfast, so we have a problem. There are no boundaries with him and stealing food. He just stands around and eats.
Long Island Iced Tea: That’s what he always does, but maybe it’s because he doesn’t have Kamikaze or anyone to keep him company
MC: We don’t really have someone keeping watch, do we?
Dirty Mother: When I see fried omelets lined up one after another, I just reach out and grab without thinking.
Long Island Iced Tea: He was eating them almost like it was a never ending feast.
MC: Never ending feast… Don’t eat everyone’s share!
Dirty Mother: …Sorry, I thought he wanted me to eat them while they were still hot
Alexander: So you’re saying that you felt as if you believed I wanted you to eat all the omelets.
Dirty Mother: Yeah, that’s right.
Alexander: Now I’m curious. No matter how you look at it, if you would understand my feelings about these omelets –
MC: (The two of them seem to be a little airheaded, so if I don’t stop them they’d probably just keep at this conversation…) W-well, I’ll keep a lookout for Dirty Mother! I won’t let him steal food. But until then, Long, Alec, could you please hand me everyone’s share?
Long Island Iced Tea: Oh, that’s just like you. Alright, thanks for keeping an eye on Dirty Mother.
*tap tap*
MC: (Ahh, I’m glad I was able to save everyone’s omelet.)
Old Pal: The two of you are together again today. You sure do get along
MC: (Oh, its Old Pal and Caipirhina and Caipiroska….)
Old Pal: Yo! I give you some candy so I can get along with you just like you do with each other
Caipirinha: What’s this? Are you treating the two of us like children?
Caipiroska: Well, we look like children, so it can’t be helped! Oh! My brother loves sweets just like the candy you have!
Caipirinha: …if it can’t be helped, then I’ll take some.
Old Pal: I have a lot! Caipiroska, would you like some too?
Caipiroska: Ah, sorry. I’m not so good with sweets, so I’ll pass on them.
Old Pal: Really? Well then how’s this? Spicy Pepper candy!
Caipiroska: It’s a candy, but it’s spicy?
Old Pal: Really spicy! I start crying once it touches my lips
Capiroska: Wow, can I try?
Old Pal: Of course!
MC: Ahaha (They’re getting along so well)
Old Pal: Huh? Oh hey! When did you get here?
MC: Just a while ago.
Old Pal: You should have said something earlier! Would you like some candy too? Sweet strawberry and Spicy pepper! Which would you like?
MC: I’ll take the strawberry.
*woof woof*
*meow*
MC: They’re being really loud. I wonder what’s going on?
Old Pal: Let’s go have a look! Everyone, to the garden!
Caipirinha: Wha! Why do we have to… hey!
MC: Woah woah, let’s all go with no pushing
Salty Dog: Manju! Over here! Stop playing around and get over here!
Jack Rose: We had Caesar and the others here, but where did they run off to?
Caipiroska: Giving them a bath in the garden?
Salty Dog: Oh, good morning, everyone! Yeah, bath time starts now!
MC: It’s great weather for it
Old Pal: Wow, I heard about them before, but there’s so many! You probably don’t have enough hands to handle them all at once, right?
Jack Rose: Oh…. yeah, it’s impossible with just two people, so we just divide them into groups and wash.
MC: Right. Wait a sec, why are you washing them today?
Salty Dog: We haven’t had any time to give them a bath recently, but we were free since this morning.
Jack Rose: Yeah…so that’s why we decided to give them a bath on this nice day.
Old Pal: You seem a little tired! If you’re in trouble and need another pair of hands, let me know! If its hands you need, there’s plenty here! Am I right?
Caipirinha: ….huh? Why are you looking at us?
Old Pal: Of course, because we’ll be joining as a group. Don’t you think so?
MC: Huh? Me too!?
Old Pal: We’re the ‘taken a bite of the same candy’ friends!
MC: W-we ate the same candy, but even still what sort of friends…
Salty Dog: So you’ll help us!? That would be amazing! Yes! What do you think, Jack Rose?
Jack Rose: Ah, nice… but is it really okay with you?
Old Pal: We don’t mind at all. When you’re in trouble, we should help each other, don’cha think?
Caipirinha: If you’ve already said we don’t mind, then I guess this means we don’t have a choice then huh?
Caipiroska: Brother, the two of them are in trouble, so let’s help them out.
Caipirinha: …haa, the two of them and you, Caipiroska, you all better be grateful.
MC: I’ll help out too.
Caipirinha: Hey, Tororo! Don’t jump out with these bubbles all over you!
Caipiroska: Senbei, you’re such a good girl! We’re almost done, so just hold on a bit more.
Jack Rose: Aha, do you feel itchy anywhere?
Salty Dog: There we go, Manju. All that’s left is to rinse you off with some warm water and….wah!
Caipirinha: Oof
Caipiroska: B-brother, are you okay!?
MC: Ah, wait, Manju ran off!
Salty Dog: Wait! You can’t go inside the house like that! Ah, no! I said don’t go in there!
Old Pal: Ahahaha! All those soap bubbles are getting everywhere!
Caipirinha: Hey, this isn’t funny…!
Caipiroska: Um, there’s soap all over the garden.
Jack Rose: Ah… this could be bad. Emerald Mist and Gimlet might get angry if we leave it like this.
MC: E-Emerald Mist and Gimlet… That’s serious!
Salty Dog: Ah! Manju ran inside the house!
Old Pal: Leave this to us for now. Let’s go, Salty Dog.
MC: I wonder… if they’ll be okay?
